Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense medications and compound preparations using provided automated systems
- Manage inventory and stock pharmaceutical supplies with provided inventory management software
- Process insurance claims and maintain patient records via our integrated pharmacy management system
- Provide medication counseling and health education to patients
- Collaborate with pharmacists to ensure regulatory compliance (DEA, HIPAA, OSHA)
- Operate and maintain provided compounding equipment and sterile preparation tools
Qualifications
- Active Ohio Pharmacy Technician license or PTCB certification
- Minimum 1 year retail/hospital pharmacy experience
- Proficiency with pharmacy management software (we provide training)
- Strong attention to detail and mathematical accuracy
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods (equipment provided for ergonomic support)
- Background check and drug screening required
