Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription medications accurately using provided automated dispensing systems
- Operate pharmacy management software and digital inventory tracking tools
- Prepare IV admixtures and sterile compounds with aseptic technique equipment
- Manage medication packaging and labeling equipment for patient safety
- Process insurance claims using our electronic verification systems
- Maintain sterile compounding environments with provided cleanroom equipment
- Collaborate with pharmacists using provided consultation tools
Qualifications
- Active California Pharmacy Technician license
- 1+ years experience in retail or hospital pharmacy setting
- Proficiency with pharmacy dispensing technology (training provided)
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred
- Strong knowledge of sterile compounding techniques
- Ability to operate automated inventory management systems
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Basic understanding of HIPAA compliance protocols
