Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare and dispense medications using provided automated dispensing systems
- Operate pharmacy equipment including pill counters, barcode scanners, and compounding tools
- Manage inventory with provided inventory management software
- Verify prescription orders and counsel patients on medication usage
- Maintain compliance with state pharmacy regulations and safety protocols
- Collaborate with pharmacists to ensure optimal patient care
Qualifications
- Active Ohio Pharmacy Technician license
- 6+ months pharmacy experience with equipment operation
- Proficient in pharmacy software (training provided for our systems)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods
- CPR certification preferred (training available)
