Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications using automated dispensing equipment
- Manage inventory control with barcode scanning and digital tracking systems
- Operate pharmacy software for prescription processing and patient records
- Provide exceptional customer service while adhering to HIPAA compliance standards
- Collaborate with pharmacists on medication therapy management initiatives
- Maintain sterile compounding equipment and cleanroom protocols
- Process insurance claims and third-party billing via integrated systems
Qualifications
- Active Oregon Pharmacy Technician license
- 6+ months experience with pharmacy automation systems
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred
- Proficient in prescription processing software (e.g., QS1, Omnicell)
- Strong attention to detail and mathematical accuracy
- Ability to operate automated dispensing equipment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods
