Responsibilities
- Accurately verify and prepare prescription medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Input patient data into pharmacy management systems and process insurance claims efficiently.
- Manage inventory levels, including checking expiration dates and restocking supplies.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions regarding medications and health products.
- Assist in the compounding of medications and preparation of IVs when required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment in accordance with state regulations.
Qualifications
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or registered with the State Board of Pharmacy.
- Current PTCB or ExCPT certification.
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lift boxes and stand for extended periods as required by the role.
- Basic computer proficiency and knowledge of healthcare software.
