Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense medications using provided automated equipment
- Manage inventory and order pharmaceutical supplies
- Process insurance claims and maintain patient records
- Assist pharmacist with prescription verification and compounding
- Provide exceptional patient education on medication usage
- Maintain sterile and organized work environment
- Collaborate with healthcare team for patient care coordination
Qualifications
- Active California Pharmacy Technician license
- 1+ years retail or hospital pharmacy experience
- CPhT certification preferred
- Proficiency with pharmacy software (e.g., QS1, Omnicell)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Pass background check and drug screening
