Responsibilities
- Process and fill prescriptions accurately according to legal and regulatory standards.
- Verify patient information and insurance details to ensure proper billing and safety.
- Manage inventory levels, including receiving, stocking, and ordering pharmaceutical supplies.
- Assist customers with medication questions and provide excellent customer service.
- Prepare medication labels and package prescriptions for delivery.
- Assist the Pharmacist in compounding medications and conducting quality control checks.
- Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment.
Qualifications
- Active Pharmacy Technician certification (CPhT) required.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a retail or hospital pharmacy setting preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with pharmacy software.
