Responsibilities
- Prepare and dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
- Verify physician orders and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Manage inventory levels, process incoming shipments, and perform monthly stock counts.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare professionals at the pharmacy counter.
- Assist the Pharmacist with clinical tasks, including medication therapy management and immunizations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications
- Current PTCB (Pharmacy Technician Certification Board) or ExCPT certification.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician preferred but willing to train certified graduates.
- Strong computer proficiency with EMR/EHR systems (e.g., RxOne, Cerner, Epic).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong mathematical skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
