Responsibilities
- Assist the Pharmacist in the preparation and dispensing of prescription medications.
- Verify patient information and insurance details for accuracy.
- Manage inventory, including receiving, stocking, and ordering pharmaceutical supplies.
- Provide excellent customer service and answer patient inquiries regarding medications.
- Perform basic computer functions and maintain accurate patient records.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (PTCB or ExCPT) preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in medication dispensing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Basic computer literacy and data entry skills.
