Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription medications accurately under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory, order pharmaceutical supplies, and ensure stock rotation
- Process insurance claims and maintain precise patient records
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers
- Prepare IV medications and sterile compounds following strict protocols
- Operate pharmacy software efficiently and troubleshoot technical issues
- Adhere to all federal, state, and company regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Active Pharmacy Technician certification (PTCB or ExCPT)
- Texas Board of Pharmacy registration required
- Minimum 1 year pharmacy experience preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and mathematical accuracy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask effectively in high-pressure situations
- Proficiency with pharmacy management software (e.g., QS1, Omnicell)
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
