Responsibilities
- Prepare and package prescription medications following strict state and federal regulations.
- Verify patient information and insurance details to ensure billing accuracy.
- Assist pharmacists with medication therapy management and patient counseling.
- Manage inventory levels, including receiving, stocking, and ordering pharmaceutical supplies.
- Process returns, exchanges, and refunds according to pharmacy policy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe pharmacy workspace.
Qualifications
- Current Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification (or willingness to obtain).
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Strong computer literacy and experience with pharmacy software systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid Ohio Pharmacy Technician license (if applicable by state law).
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
