Responsibilities
- <ul><li>Accurately verify and process prescription orders in accordance with state and federal regulations.</li><li>Prepare and dispense medications, including sterile compounding when required.</li><li>Manage inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, and stocking pharmaceuticals.</li><li>Assist customers with insurance inquiries and co-pay processing.</li><li>Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant workspace following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).</li><li>Collaborate with pharmacists and nursing staff to ensure seamless patient care.</li></ul>
Qualifications
- <ul><li>Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) with current PTCB or ExCPT certification.</li><li>Active Virginia Pharmacy Technician license.</li><li>High school diploma or GED required; Post-secondary education preferred.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and excellent mathematical skills.</li><li>Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Basic computer proficiency and experience with pharmacy software systems.</li></ul>
