Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense medications and compound pharmaceutical preparations under pharmacist supervision
- Verify prescription details and patient information for compliance with safety protocols
- Manage inventory control, ordering, and stock rotation of pharmaceutical products
- Process insurance claims and maintain electronic health records
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare professionals
- Assist with immunization administration and patient counseling
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA and pharmacy regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Active Pharmacy Technician certification (PTCB or ExCPT)
- Indiana State Board of Pharmacy registration
- Minimum 1 year pharmacy experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and mathematical accuracy
- Proficiency in pharmacy software (e.g., QS1, Omnicell)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
