Responsibilities
- Prepare and fill prescription medications following strict legal and safety standards.
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, and stocking pharmaceutical supplies.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare professionals.
- Assist pharmacists with compounding, medication therapy management, and administrative tasks.
- Verify insurance coverage and process claims accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary pharmacy environment.
Qualifications
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or equivalent state license required.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology and medical abbreviations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Proficiency with pharmacy management software systems.
