Responsibilities
- Verify prescription orders and prepare medications for dispensing.
- Process insurance claims and handle copayments accurately.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and manage stock levels.
- Assist patients with medication questions and provide top-tier customer service.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations.
- Collaborate with pharmacists to resolve drug therapy issues.
Qualifications
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or eligible to obtain certification.
- Current state Pharmacy Technician license.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
