Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in the accurate preparation and dispensing of medications to patients.
- Verify patient information and prescription details to ensure safety and compliance.
- Manage pharmacy inventory, including stocking shelves and monitoring expiration dates.
- Process insurance claims and handle financial transactions efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service and answer patient inquiries regarding medications.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
Qualifications
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification required.
- High school diploma or GED is mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new pharmacy software.
- Ability to lift boxes weighing up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if required for travel between branches).
