Responsibilities
- Prepare and fill prescriptions accurately according to state and federal laws.
- Assist the Pharmacist with medication compounding and verification processes.
- Process insurance claims and handle patient billing inquiries professionally.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock levels are sufficient.
- Greet patients, answer phone calls, and provide exceptional customer service.
- Adhere to strict HIPAA privacy regulations and safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Current Texas Pharmacy Technician license (or eligibility to obtain one).
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
- CPR certification is a plus.
