Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for treatment and assist dentists during procedures
- Sterilize instruments and maintain equipment per OSHA standards
- Take dental impressions and process X-rays
- Manage patient records and digital documentation
- Order inventory and ensure operatory readiness
- Deliver post-operative care instructions
- Assist in treatment planning coordination
Qualifications
- Active Ohio Dental Assistant certification or DANB eligibility
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- Proficiency in digital imaging software
- Strong infection control knowledge
- CPR certification required
- Excellent communication and chairside manner
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
