Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications to patients.
- Verify patient information and insurance details to ensure compliance.
- Assist customers with medication questions and provide product recommendations.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and manage stock levels efficiently.
- Collaborate with pharmacists to review prescriptions for accuracy and safety.
- Operate pharmacy dispensing equipment and computer systems with proficiency.
- Ensure the pharmacy environment is clean, organized, and adheres to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (PTCB or ExCPT) required.
- High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
- Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Familiarity with pharmacy management software (e.g., Rx30, Phoenix).
