Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory control and stock rotation systems
- Process insurance claims and maintain patient records
- Perform sterile compounding for IV preparations
- Assist with point-of-care testing and immunizations
- Maintain compliance with DEA, HIPAA, and state pharmacy regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- No prior pharmacy experience necessary - we train!
- Basic computer proficiency and math skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods (8+ hours)
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Willingness to obtain PTCB certification within 6 months
- Valid Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician registration (provided post-hire)
