Our 6-week paid training program includes hands-on experience with prescription processing, medication dispensing, inventory management, and HIPAA compliance. Upon completion, you'll earn your nationally recognized pharmacy technician certification and transition to a full-time role with competitive benefits.
Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stock rotation
- Process insurance claims and patient billing
- Maintain accurate patient records and prescription files
- Provide excellent customer service and medication counseling
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and safety protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- No prior pharmacy experience necessary (training provided)
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer proficiency and math aptitude
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Must be available for weekday training (8 AM - 5 PM)
