Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and tracking controlled substances
- Process insurance claims and maintain precise patient records
- Provide exceptional customer service and medication counseling to patients
- Adhere to all federal, state, and company pharmacy regulations
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
- Maintain clean and organized dispensing areas
Qualifications
- Active Pharmacy Technician license in Arizona (PTCB or ExCPT certified)
- Minimum 1 year of retail or hospital pharmacy experience
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy software (e.g., QS1, Omnicell)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of medical terminology and drug interactions
- Valid CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
