Responsibilities
- Prepare and dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Manage inventory levels, including receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and processing returns.
- Verify patient information and insurance details to ensure billing accuracy and compliance.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding prescriptions, drug interactions, and refill requests.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe pharmacy environment in adherence to OSHA and HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications
- Current PTCB or ExCPT certification is highly preferred.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
