Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Manage pharmaceutical inventory and maintain compliance with regulatory standards
- Process insurance claims and manage third-party billing systems
- Provide medication counseling to patients and healthcare providers
- Maintain sterile compounding environments for IV medications
- Utilize pharmacy software for order entry and record-keeping
- Collaborate with healthcare team to optimize medication therapy
Qualifications
- Active Pharmacy Technician certification in Minnesota
- Minimum 1 year retail/hospital pharmacy experience
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws and HIPAA compliance
- Proficiency in pharmacy management software (e.g., QS1, Omnicell)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math and computer literacy
- Valid CPR certification preferred
