Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory control, including ordering, receiving, and stocking pharmaceuticals
- Process insurance claims and maintain accurate patient records
- Provide exceptional customer service and medication counseling to patients
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations
- Operate pharmacy management software and automated dispensing systems
- Maintain clean, organized, and HIPAA-compliant workspaces
Qualifications
- Active California Pharmacy Technician license or eligibility
- PTCB or ExCPT certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year retail or hospital pharmacy experience
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication handling
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with pharmacy software and basic computer systems
