Responsibilities
- Accurately receive, prepare, and dispense prescription medications following strict state and federal guidelines.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering patient questions and offering medication counseling support.
- Manage inventory, including receiving, stocking, and ordering pharmaceutical supplies.
- Verify prescription information for accuracy and completeness before dispensing.
- Assist the Pharmacist with compounding medications and managing patient profiles.
- Ensure the pharmacy environment remains clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Handle cash transactions and process insurance claims efficiently.
Qualifications
- Current PTCB or ExCPT certification required.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency with pharmacy software.
- CPR/BLS certification is a plus.
