Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory, including ordering and stock rotation of pharmaceutical products
- Process insurance claims and maintain patient records with HIPAA compliance
- Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, and dosage instructions
- Operate automated dispensing systems and pharmacy software efficiently
- Maintain clean, organized, and compliant pharmacy workspaces
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
Qualifications
- Current Pharmacy Technician certification in Wisconsin (or ability to obtain immediately)
- Minimum 1 year pharmacy or healthcare experience (or pharmacy tech graduate)
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology and drug interactions
- Proficiency in pharmacy management software (e.g., QS1, Omnicell)
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license and reliable transportation
