Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare and dispense medications under pharmacist supervision
- Manage prescription processing, labeling, and inventory control
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers
- Maintain compliance with FDA, state, and pharmacy regulations
- Utilize pharmacy software for prescription verification and documentation
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure patient safety
- Assist with sterile compounding and medication preparation
Qualifications
- Active Florida Pharmacy Technician license required
- Prior hospital or retail pharmacy experience preferred
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification strongly preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer proficiency with pharmacy systems
- Pass background check and drug screening
