Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription medications accurately
- Manage pharmacy inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stock rotation
- Process insurance claims and maintain electronic health records
- Provide exceptional patient education on medication usage and side effects
- Ensure compliance with federal and state pharmacy regulations
- Operate automated dispensing systems and pharmacy software
- Maintain clean and organized workspace in accordance with safety standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic computer proficiency with ability to learn pharmacy systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
- Must pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
- Valid Nevada driver's license preferred
- Commitment to completing the full training program
