Responsibilities
- Accurately fill, package, and label prescription medications under the supervision of a pharmacist.
- Verify patient information and insurance details to ensure compliance and prevent errors.
- Manage inventory levels by receiving, stocking, and organizing pharmaceutical supplies efficiently.
- Assist patients with medication questions and provide exceptional customer service.
- Process cash and insurance transactions with precision and efficiency.
- Prepare and maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized pharmacy environment.
- Collaborate with the pharmacy team to streamline workflow and improve patient care.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (PTCB or ExCPT) is required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lift boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.
