Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory control, ordering, and stock rotation
- Process insurance claims and maintain patient records
- Provide exceptional customer service and medication counseling
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and pharmacy regulations
- Operate pharmacy software and automated dispensing systems
- Assist with sterile compounding when certified
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn pharmacy systems
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Must be able to attend paid training sessions (Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm)
