Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections with precision and patient comfort
- Process and label specimens according to CLIA and HIPAA standards
- Maintain accurate patient records and electronic documentation
- Operate centrifuges, analyzers, and other lab equipment
- Collaborate with clinical team to ensure seamless patient flow
- Implement infection control protocols and waste management procedures
Qualifications
- Current Phlebotomy Technician certification (ASCP, NCCT, or equivalent)
- 1+ years of clinical experience in phlebotomy or related field
- Proficiency in venipuncture techniques and specimen handling
- Strong communication and patient interaction skills
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Valid CPR certification
