Responsibilities
- Perform venipunctures and capillary blood draws efficiently and accurately.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the collection process.
- Label, process, and store blood samples according to strict laboratory protocols.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in the EMR system.
- Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) or equivalent certification required.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
