Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection procedures
- Process and prepare specimens for laboratory testing
- Maintain accurate patient records and specimen documentation
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and HIPAA regulations
- Provide exceptional patient care during blood draw procedures
- Operate and maintain phlebotomy equipment
- Collaborate with healthcare team members for patient coordination
Qualifications
- Current Phlebotomy Technician certification (ASCP, NHA, or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- Valid CPR certification
- Excellent venipuncture and capillary puncture skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and precision in specimen handling
- Ohio driver's license (if required for mobile services)
