Responsibilities
- Perform venipunctures and other blood collection procedures efficiently and safely.
- Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Greet patients, explain procedures, and ensure a comfortable and reassuring environment.
- Maintain and sterilize all phlebotomy equipment and supplies.
- Collaborate with nurses and physicians to ensure seamless patient flow.
Qualifications
- Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) or equivalent certification required.
- Current State Phlebotomy License.
- Minimum of 1 year of professional phlebotomy experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
