As a Phlebotomy Tech, you will be the first point of contact for many of our patients, drawing blood samples for clinical testing and analysis with the highest level of accuracy and compassion.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipunctures and capillary blood draws on patients of all ages with minimal discomfort.
- Greet patients warmly, explain procedures, and ensure a positive patient experience.
- Label, log, and prepare blood samples accurately for laboratory analysis.
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and safety guidelines.
- Update patient records and demographics in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications
- Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) or Phlebotomy Assistant certification required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a clinical or hospital setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
