As a Phlebotomy Tech, you will play a critical role in our diagnostic process, ensuring accurate sample collection and patient comfort. We pride ourselves on our modern facilities and supportive team culture.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipunctures and capillary blood draws on patients of all ages with precision and care.
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA guidelines and safety protocols during all procedures.
- Label, process, and transport blood samples to the laboratory efficiently.
- Interact professionally and compassionately with patients to minimize anxiety and ensure accurate identification.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Assist with inventory management of phlebotomy supplies and equipment.
Qualifications
- Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) or eligible to obtain certification.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
- Previous experience in a clinical or hospital setting preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent manual dexterity.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs when necessary.
