Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws following strict protocols
- Process and label specimens accurately for laboratory testing
- Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
- Calibrate and troubleshoot phlebotomy equipment
- Provide exceptional patient care with focus on comfort and safety
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure seamless workflow
Qualifications
- Current Phlebotomy Technician certification (ASCP, NHA, or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in phlebotomy
- Strong knowledge of venipuncture techniques and specimen handling
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced medical settings
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license (if travel between sites needed)
