Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection procedures with precision
- Process and transport specimens to laboratory with strict adherence to protocols
- Verify patient identities and maintain accurate electronic health records
- Prepare specimens for analysis and ensure proper labeling and documentation
- Maintain sterile work environments and infection control standards
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient experience

Qualifications
- Current Phlebotomy Technician certification (ASCP, NCCT, or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in phlebotomy
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced medical settings
- Basic computer proficiency for EHR systems
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Ohio Phlebotomy Technician license
