Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and prioritize cases using standardized triage protocols
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers
- Document patient encounters accurately in electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards
- Provide health education to patients and families
- Respond to medical emergencies with calm professionalism
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Minnesota
- Minimum 2 years emergency or critical care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Excellent assessment and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and overnight shifts
- Electronic health record proficiency
