Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections with precision and patient comfort
- Process and label specimens following strict laboratory protocols
- Maintain accurate documentation and electronic health records
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, CLIA, and HIPAA regulations
- Provide exceptional patient education during procedures
- Collaborate with lab teams for efficient specimen workflow
- Operate automated analyzers and point-of-care testing equipment
Qualifications
- Active Phlebotomy Technician certification (ASCP, NHA, or AMT)
- Minimum 1 year clinical phlebotomy experience
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Successful background check and drug screen
