Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws accurately and efficiently
- Process and label specimens according to HIPAA guidelines
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during collection procedures
- Maintain clean, organized workstations and equipment
- Document patient information and specimen details in EMR systems
- Collaborate with medical staff to resolve collection challenges
- Adhere to OSHA and CLIA compliance standards
Qualifications
- Current Phlebotomy Technician certification (ASCP or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in blood collection
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems
- Exceptional patient communication skills

- Strong attention to detail and infection control knowledge
- Valid Arizona driver's license for facility travel
