Responsibilities
- Perform accurate venipuncture and capillary blood draws across diverse patient populations
- Process and label specimens according to CLIA and OSHA standards
- Maintain precise patient records and documentation in EHR systems
- Ensure sterile techniques and proper handling of biohazard materials
- Collaborate with lab and clinical teams for seamless patient workflow
- Train on new equipment and protocols as part of continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Current Colorado Phlebotomy Technician certification (required)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in phlebotomy
- BLS/CPR certification from AHA or Red Cross
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
- Valid Colorado driver's license for mobile phlebotomy duties
