Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections with precision and patient comfort
- Process and label specimens according to HIPAA and CLIA guidelines
- Maintain accurate patient records and electronic documentation
- Verify patient identity and test requisitions
- Operate and troubleshoot laboratory equipment
- Collaborate with healthcare team to optimize patient flow
Qualifications
- Current Phlebotomy Technician certification (ASCP, AMT, or equivalent)
- 1+ years of clinical experience in a hospital/laboratory setting
- Excellent venipuncture skills with minimal callbacks
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and safety protocols
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required
