Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture, capillary punctures, and specimen collection with precision
- Process and label specimens according to strict protocols
- Maintain sterile equipment and laboratory environments
- Verify patient identification and maintain HIPAA compliance
- Provide patient education during blood draw procedures
- Collaborate with lab staff to ensure timely test processing
- Document all procedures accurately in electronic health records
Qualifications
- Current Phlebotomy certification (ASCP, AMT, or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
