Responsibilities
- Perform accurate venipuncture and capillary blood collection using provided state-of-the-art equipment
- Process and label specimens according to HIPAA and CLIA standards
- Maintain inventory of phlebotomy supplies and equipment
- Train on new diagnostic technologies provided by the company
- Ensure patient comfort and procedural compliance
- Collaborate with lab technologists for seamless sample handling
Qualifications
- Active Phlebotomy Technician certification (ASCP, NCCT, or equivalent)
- 1+ years of clinical phlebotomy experience
- Proficiency in blood collection techniques and specimen processing
- Ability to work with provided electronic health record systems
- Strong attention to detail and infection control protocols
- Valid North Carolina phlebotomy license
- CPR certification required
