Responsibilities
- Perform accurate venipuncture and capillary blood collections using provided equipment
- Process and label specimens according to strict protocols
- Maintain sterile workstations and inventory of provided supplies
- Document patient information and test results in electronic systems
- Assist with patient preparation and post-collection care
- Collaborate with lab team to ensure timely sample processing
Qualifications
- Current California Phlebotomy Technician certification (CPT or PBT)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in phlebotomy
- OSHA bloodborne pathogen certification
- Proficiency with provided digital collection systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Valid CPR certification
