Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection procedures
- Process and label specimens according to lab protocols
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and HIPAA regulations
- Provide patient education during blood draw procedures
- Operate and maintain phlebotomy equipment
- Collaborate with healthcare team for seamless care
Qualifications
- Current Phlebotomy Technician certification (ASPT, NCCT, or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year clinical phlebotomy experience
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Excellent venipuncture and pediatric draw skills
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Ability to work independently with flexible hours
- Pass background check and drug screening
