Responsibilities
- Perform venipunctures and capillary blood draws on patients of all ages.
- Verify patient information and ensure strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Process and label blood samples accurately for laboratory analysis.
- Maintain a clean and sterile work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Communicate effectively with patients to ensure a positive experience.
- Assist with inventory management of phlebotomy supplies.
Qualifications
- Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) or equivalent certification required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical phlebotomy experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent manual dexterity.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
