Responsibilities
- Perform accurate blood draws and specimen collection following HIPAA and OSHA protocols
- Label, process, and transport specimens to the lab with meticulous attention to detail
- Ensure patient comfort and explain procedures clearly to reduce anxiety
- Maintain clean, organized workstations and medical equipment
- Document patient information and test results in electronic health records
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Adhere to strict infection control and safety standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior phlebotomy experience necessary – we train!
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
